About this website and me
My name is Nicola Fry and I have been into photography for many years now. In 2009 I graduated with a BA in photographic practice.
For my final project on the course I chose to do "A Photographic Journey Into The World Of Autism". This project changed my life in more ways than one.
I have Asperger's Syndrome myself, a form of autism. This enables me to have
greater insight into the child's world resutling in unique pictures.
This website will show all areas of my photographic work and I hope you enjoy looking at the site and photographs, and that the pictures touch you like they have me when making them.
I work in many areas in photography but specialise in childrens portraits and people with special needs. On request I can also produce "a day in the life of...." - these photo shoots will be shot on location or where you live, depending on where you, as my client, will want the photo shoot to be held.
In order to get the best pictures, I do not use studios or lights, just me and my camera in natural light - I believe that natural light is the best for photography and truly captures the reality of the subject.
